2023 5.0 high pitch whine/squeaking at idle?

There you go. You have a great truck that’s powerful and dependable. Aftermarket cams and then you’ll be complaining how bitchy and tweaky it is. Stories about the early days when the truck was stock and running like a champion on “corn juice”!

I have this. It is different from the "whine" of the trans pump as I have that too. This is more of a high pitched whistle that comes from the engine area.

I just recently bought a 23 stx 5.0 and I get the same noise. Doesn't sound real bad but noticeable. My best guess is its to warn people nearby that there is a running vehicle. Kinda like some of these hybrids make a high pitch noise.
I've only had mine for two days now , Something I will keep an ear on for certain but not overly concerned about it.
