So ordered my dream truck back in mid January. Spent then next 3 months with you guys watching and waiting (and waiting... though not as much as some of you) tracking and analyzing where and when my truck would show up. I also spent the time looking at what I wanted to do to the truck once I got it. The original ETA for my Truck was April 11th. I got it on the 12th so I guess they knew what they were saying (Especially that 3-4 week shipping time to California). So here is how she looked when I got her:
Got to driver her for 4 days (Only about 150 miles), then my nephew and I put on the GatorTrax Retractable Tonneau cover and then had to bring her back to the dealership for the customs department to get to work. 9 days later she came back to me like this:
Absolutely in love with this truck! Here's what they did:
4" BDS Lift
20x9 +1mm Offset Fuel Maverick D610 wheels
35x12.5R20 Nitto Ridge Grappler Tires (No rubbing, sticks out about 2 1/2"s but covered mostly by flares so no road rash kicked up the side of the truck)
Ford Accessories by Air Design Off-Road Fender Flares (Paint Matched to Carbonized Gray)
Painted front emblem black and gray (Heavy black to match grille)
Painted rear emblem gray and black (Heavy gray to match tailgate)
Painted outer chrome edge of the power deployable running boards black
Painted the wheel wells black (Prefer over stuffing plastic in there)
Re-Programmed the Speedo and ran the learning for the computers for the lane keep and cameras
Alignment
Here are some shots:
So planning on a few more things in the near future:
Remove Sport Stickers (Possibly adding some new black and gray)
Molded floor mats
Shorter Antenna
Ceramic Tinting
Graphene application on paint
It was a long road but totally worth it in the end!
