Just had mine serviced for the first time at 5k. Fuel economy has increased 10-15% since the it got plugged in and updated at the dealer. I don’t have data to prove it but seems like the truck is willing to stay in electric only mode for far longer stretches. That’s the highest MPG I’ve ever...
Thinking about putting a raptor style (aftermarket) bumper on my powerboost. The crash bars will obviously have to go. Will still have parking sensors and active cruise control functional. Thoughts on if this will negatively affect trade in value 5 or so years from now. Truck is already lifted...
For those of you out there with lifts and oversized tires, did you remove your crash bars? I have a ‘21 Powerboost w/ a 3.5 in lift and 305/65/17 tires. They only rub the bars in reverse, but also sometimes I can feel them touch when I’m negotiating bumpy terrain. I know some will say it’s a...
Another interesting thing to note is that the ICE’s rpms aren’t directly related to how much gas (pedal pressing) you apply. most of the time with the ICE running it stays around 1500 rpm or so even if you take your foot totally off the throttle.
Sick truck. +1 for normal size wheels. I have Black Rhino 17’s on my PB. I’ll never understand 20’s on a lifted pickup thatit neither looks good (imo) nor increases your capabilities (not up for debate).
Im getting close to 20mpg.
Mine is not that bad. 19.5 overall since i bought it and that’s counting a bit of high rpm beach driving and other gas guzzling 4wd activity. It’s def worse when the temp drops tho.
Crazy how green yours looks with the sun low. Leadfoot ftw!
any rub with those tires? My 305/70/17 will hit the crash bars in reverse at certain angles…
Stop and go city driving isn’t where the hybrid excels either. It’s really at its best cruising between 30-55mph. I have a 3 inch lift and 305/70/r17s on mine and if you don’t include time spent doing actual off-roading I’m getting about 20mpg.
It’s absolutely affected by cold temperature...
Installed hood mounted flood light pods to shed some light parallel to the truck. I decided the factory LEDs were sufficient for forward lighting and that an LED bar was kind of a waste. Installed a Truxedo Sentry CT cover about a month ago and today she got her Leadfoot/matte black Ford...
