Is there an alert sound when the battery is about to go down because something was left on? The other day I kept hearing an electronic alert noise that I assumed was coming from my neighbor's brand new car which was parked next to my garage. When I tried to start my truck yesterday it was...
I have a Lariat Dbl Cab. I can fold down the passenger side rear seat back by pulling a tab. The back folds down and makes a flat surfaceI. can not find a tab, or any way, to release the larger 2/3 section of seat back. Is there a way to do that?
After a four month wait for my ARE bed cap, my local accessory dealer told me that they can not wire up the electrics to the cap without getting a "TRAILER CONNECTED" alert. The wiring includes the high brake light and the cap interior lighting. The dealer says that it's because it is a hybrid...

I understand that leaving the key elsewhere, instead of in my pocket, soles the problem. But then that creates other inconveniences.
I am not sure I understand the logic behind the idea of leaving the "2nd key" in the truck. I understand how it would prevent the lights on/lights off...
I can understand that it would be nice to have my vehicle's exterior lights come on as I approach it at night on the street, or in a lot. However the continual on/off--on/off gets rather annoying while I am working in my garage.
How can I disable that feature?
Thanks
