Mine requires replacing the driveshaft (because of the mark) but the dealer told me that it's still on backorder. Anyone here got the driveshaft replaced?
I noticed recently that when I turn my steering wheel (stop or at low speed), I hear a ticking sound. Based on googling around, it appears the sound may be coming from clock spring? Who knows it may be lubrication but tt only happens when I turn the steering wheel left but not when I turn it...
I got mine checked today (built July at Dearborn). Mine has sagging insulator and there is a mark on the driveshaft so they ordered a new driveshaft (backordered) and rivets (to fix the sagging insulator). No idea when the parts will arrive. When I checked after getting the truck back, it...
I love the truck but I think Ford really needs up their software engineering team especially all the fiasco with OTA. Below is the code I am expecting that they run currently lol.
def get_firmware_update(vin):
return None;
...
def api_handler(vin, ... , firmware_update):
return {...
Same thing happened to mine. I just stopped by the dealer and asked if they had a part available. They didn't have exactly the same part but similar enough to insert the pin and put the weather strip back.
There was a real bad storm in where I live couple of weeks ago and I was driving in rain where I cannot see anything and it was super windy (near tornado level?). I got "Pre-Collision Not Available" warning message but when I googled around, it seems it's a common issue with safety tech in F150...

Take a look at the links above.
If you take it to the dealer, you can show them the TSB which may fix this. If...
I have seen number of posts discussing whether the oil catch can voids your warranty. Anybody have experience dealing with dealers unwilling to honor your warranty because of this? or do you all take it off and take it to dealer in stock form?
This will be my first time doing the oil change myself so I was looking for a video on DIY oil change but I just can't find one for 2021 3.5eb. I just want to know where the drain plug is at or if I need to take off the skid plate...etc. Did you need to take off the skid plate? Any difficulty in...
Even when DTE is 0, you still have some left in your fuel reserve. I came across this couple of days ago by autovlog. so you can drive a little over 40 miles even after DTE is 0 on f150
https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/reverse-braking-assist-inoperative.3143/page-2#post-98002 I think this thread has couple of solutions to the same issue.
I had exactly the same issue as you. I had Line-X bedliner and the "reverse brake assist not available" came up when I set on reverse. Follow this thread, I posted my experience in resolving the issue and someone also posted that there is TSB for the issue. I would suggest going to the dealer...
Ok...Mine was finally resolved. I've initially got "reverse brake assist not available" so I went through the manual and tried driving slowly in reverse couple of times and that did not fix it. After trying bunch of things like resetting sync4, turning on/off all the sensors, I decided to take...
Let me know if the dealer figures out what is causing reverse brake assist not available error. I had same issue on mine with less than 1k miles. They said it is the issue with safety tech computer and they ordered one to replace it. Waiting to see if that fixes it
Did anyone take it to the dealer to fix it? I did and they told they tried restarting the computer (responsible for managing all the safety tech) to recalibrate sensors (or bunch of components I don't understand) and once they did that, they started getting bunch of errors like blindside...
I recently got the Line-X bedliner and they took off the tailgate in the process. After I picked up my vehicle, when I put the car in reverse I get a warning message saying “Rear Brake Assist Not Available. Check Manual”. I think there is only a single cable connected to the tailgate so I do not...
