Yea it was about $200 just for the wiring used for the transfer switch (2 feet from the breaker box) and the materials to make a 35 foot 240v cord. Gag.
ITS ALIVE! I used the Generac 6852 from this thread, and a reliance 30a power input box. The generac doesn't come with the plug. I had to order it from the web and inside the box were about 5 pieces of paper that said "If product is faulty, do not return to the store." So you'll be forced to...
I found a small business (father and son) that do a lot of the tesla and such down here in PVB. I really wanted to grab something from a store in case of manufacturing issues, but I was able to get the generac from power equipment something something on the web. Give me a week or two to have...
For what it's worth, I've idled and slept in Chevys and ford's overnight in more than one occasion when traveling alone. Never had an issue. As was said, police units, utility and construction supervisor vehicles, security vehicles, Uber and taxi cabs etc all idle all day long.
Ughhh! I have contacted every electrician in my area. I never mentioned the truck, only that I needed my home set up for a neutral bonded generator we purchased for hurricane season. 90% had no idea what I meant. One came out to look, said theyd to research on the neutral bonded issue, then...
I agree fully that some things need physical buttons for safety. Not everything can be on screen options without really good voice activated interior technology
My active 360 on the new 150 isn't nearly as good as the AT4 I had. Really one of the only things I liked better about the GM. The multipro tailgate and the camera quality. At least ford let's you use the front camera for longer than 8 seconds on slow speed tight trails though. And you can use...
Ditto. I had two 2020 Silverado sierras that were the same way, a Honda that was the same etc. I am a little surprised wireless Android auto is that far out of sync though with the wifi connection
Honestly, for the same reason cultures all over the world haven't moved past old stigmas and beliefs. For the same reason America has 2 stark different social viewpoints with a minority in the middle trying to make them both work. Change is scary and anxiety inducing. It's much easier to change...
Im a sole proprietor in a mobile business. Same situation, the IWS was one of 2 compromises for an on lot purchase. If you want to sell a few, please shoot me a pm. I would love one. Thanks.
Just curious about it, maybe you guys can help me out. Been a GM guy, not used to ford systems. At the beach watching Elsa today. Sand is soft, probably a foot or more deep. I noticed turning while backing up in 4hi I was getting a nasty clunk after about 10 15 feet. Not 4a (spinning to lock it...
This makes more sense. I'll have to crawl under there and thread it out of the wheel well. Must have got unlucky and it bounced into the hole during wash
Interesting! I had it happen once in the rain, a few times in the morning (I'm assuming condensation is to blame) and two other random times. Mines been fine since it turned itself off however. I think it's just extra extra picky about dirt, sun, and shadows. The rear view camera quality...
Welp. I feel like an idiot. I checked it before when it was doing it on a foggy humid morning but not today. Swung by the dealer on the way home to show them and make an appointment. They jumped in, pulled up the setting at the bottom of driver assistance in features, and it was turned off. No...
Keep us updated please! I'm trying to wait wait an oil change to ask about the fuel door release string but if the reverse braking is a dealer fix I might bring it early for that.
Love this thing, just a couple software bugs it would be nice to have fixed and this one issue. More and more often I jump in the truck and get the reverse brake assist not available message. I have cleaned the sensors, camera, slammed all the doors and tailgate shut, still getting it. Is this a...
I'm assuming you have a powerboost? It's a manual fuel door release in case the electric isn't working. Mine popped down after the first wash. Everything works normal so I don't think it's supposed to be attached anywhere. I tucked it back into a hole in the wheel well for now. Until I have time...
I like the turn by turn on the cluster. In fact I wish I could make that the center widget when I'm using nav instead of the trip info. Just not sure what makes it go wacky. At first I thought it was the turn signal or changing lanes doing it but it's not. Now I'm thinking it may be the lane...
