Call your dealer they can get you an update. Dealership uses a different website to get better info. My build date was 1/28. but my dealer called me to tell me it started production on 1/24.My sticker has a build date of 1/22, order tracker says build date of 1/23. Truck status is still 'In Production'.
Anyone else in the same boat or have any idea why this is?
VIN: 1FTFW1ED7MFA85674
Thanks!
I’m not concerned at all. I think maybe a couple items are done off site.I’m in the same boat. Sticker has a build date of 01/22 and tracker shows build date of 01/24 and hasn’t come out of “In Production”. My dealer called me on 01/25 and said my truck was in the body shop getting the spray in liner. I’m not confident all is well.
Mine is just about the same but 1/23 and 1/24.Mine was scheduled for 1-24
The trackers imply it was done on 1-25.
However, both trackers still say “in production”, but both also give me an ETA
of 2-22 for delivery to dealer
Kind of amazing with a multi-billion dollar company cant keep its own customers informed. The old model of dealerships need to die, Tesla has the right idea i think.Yep "scheduled for prod 1/22/2021" but is still in production and not "built". No ETA or transit.
Keep in mind, we out here are not Ford’s customers.Kind of amazing with a multi-billion dollar company cant keep its own customers informed. The old model of dealerships need to die, Tesla has the right idea i think.
Well thats the problem right there, they need to be more connected with their customers, IMHO. Doesnt mean Im right.Keep in mind, we out here are not Ford’s customers.
Ford dealers are Ford’s customers and technically are the only entities Ford has to answer to. I’m not suggesting they are not concerned about us, but they may have enough irons in the fire.
Like the weird failings of a new product.
Let Ford work this crap out, and the dealer sort out and honestly relay the delivery issues.
I’m actually surprised that we can somewhat monitor once we get a VIN.
We are Ford dealer customers
