Wheel mod thoughts...?

I have three sets of 20" Plat rims for my truck (can't even recall how I got them over the years).
My current is 2022 Antimatter Blue and I'm thinking of painting one set black.
I don't usually mod my truck but thought this might be a nice change from the norm. What do you guys think of this guys rims?
Truck would be pretty much identical to this except longer bed and tow mirrors.

I’m so f-ing lost when it comes to tires & wheels!

I have the money to buy my wheels & tires, and I have a pretty good idea of what wheels & tires I want.

I want my tires to extend beyond the wheels (to protect the wheels) and I want them to extend beyond the fender enough to be able to feel my way around ruts & boulders without trashing the body.

BUT…

I’m not quite ready to shell out the $1,500 - $2K for a “proper” suspension leveling. So I have to wait until I can afford the $5K to do it all at once.

I’ve considered the “puck” but that would just be a temporary $500+ that I would be pissing away for a lack of patience.

Do it. Get them powder coated though, not just painted.

How about painting a pair of your old rims, put them on or in front of your existing truck wheels to see how they look and make decision from there. If you like you the look you can paint/powder coat your 22 rims. If not, you can stick with your 22 rims without having to remove the black paint or whatever you use.

I prefer blacked out myself...

Black wheels tend to get lost in the wheel wells. Personally I prefer some contrast.

I originally thought I was going to do black wheels until I set my eyes on these. I always wanted to do bronze and these pop with the Antimatter.

Ok got em done today.
Stock tires so it doesn't look as mean as it could. Still lots of chrome from being a Platinum.
But I'm not gonna de-chrome or BAP the truck...
