Here is a follow up video from TFL Truck showing the PowerBoost running their towing tests.
The 2021 Ford F-150 Limited with the PowerBoost powertrain got the following results on a sixty-six mile test loop burning 91 octane fuel:
Towing 6,000 pound trailer - 8.068 MPG average
Unladen/No trailer - 29.8 MPG average
It is also interesting to note that the F-150 registered around 63 decibels inside the interior while highway cruising. For comparison, a BMW 7-Series registers about 58 decibels at highway speeds.
And if you have to know.... the Jeep Gladiator earned the following:
Towing 6,000 pound trailer - 11.5 MPG average
Unladen/No trailer - 21.2 MPG average
