SYNC screen went out after updates !!!!!!!!

Has anyone experienced a SYNC screen outage?
My dealer updated the APIM and TCU software and the screen went out.

anyone have suggestions or solutions to fix this

I just posted yesterday a similar problem - APIM was updated to fix the blacked out screen, didn't work. They ordered a new screen and installed, still didn't work. Ford now says it needs a new APIM, but I've been driving a loaner for over a month as my dealer can't get the parts in. Will let you know if the new APIM fixes it, if they get the part. Otherwise I'm thinking of starting the buyback process.
