Just as the title describes.

I used the device on a Nissan Cummins diesel to monitor things on that truck.

What would you suggest I monitor for my 2021 XLT 5.0 2wd? Figure I should start using it again. 😎

Thanks for the input.

There’s some pretty crafty guys here about that stuff. Hopefully they will stumble across this thread. 😂

@Snakebitten is pretty crafty and knowledgeable even though he has the EcoBoost/Powerboost. @turbopilot is also pretty deep into it as well. I don’t have the V8, but I think that monitoring the 12v battery SOC, charging amperage, OAR, knock retard and spark advance are good places to start. I’m sure they can chime in with any other recommendations. Oh, and oil pressure. I’m not certain the the PID for the EcoBoost works on the coyote, but if it does, I’d monitor that as well.

I just tried to rope in the knowledge that has helped me and while thinking about your request, thought of the PIDs that are (or should be) transferable. They’re far more knowledgeable than I.

Thanks for the flattering words, and I do believe there's considerable overlap in what I'd monitor if I had the coyote VS the 3.5 Ecoboost.
Obviously you don't have to be concerned with boost though. 😁

I imagine the PID mapping to gauges will not match though, so importing someone else's dashboard will likely require you to manually select the PID you point each gauge to.

Here's what I monitor:

Top half are all ICE gauges
Lower half are electric.
Red electric is low voltage
Orange electric is high voltage
