Where the 14th gen work trucks at?!

New member here. Been in the 14gen f150 club for maybe two months now.

Has anyone else out there gone full work truck on their new f150’s yet like me? Great truck as a contractor with ladder rack, decked system, power plug in the bed, and tailgate work surface. That tailgate work surface has easily become one of my favorite features of this truck hands down!

Nah never been a problem. Just gotta make sure it’s strapped down good, and weight isn’t too front heavy. Been running this same rack and ladder setup for a couple years on previous f150.

I have been looking at doing a Yakima overhaul HD myself.

So what size HD cross bar are you running with that. I keep hearing 68 inch is minimum but it looks like yours are shorter than that as you have little overhang and other pictures with the 68 inch seem to have a ton. Maybe it is an optical illusion cause of that pole on the side.

Raining now, but I’ll find out when weather lets up. They definitely are the minimum size bars that can fit on these trucks with this rack. I wanna say they’re 60”

Truck looks great. I'm thinking hard about going with the Yakama HD for my 13ft kayak. Dropping close to $3000 for Retrax and Bedrug so the rack may have to wait till Christmas.
