license plate light bulbs

I replaced my license plate lights with auxito 194 LED bulbs. These LED bulbs all worked, are noticeably brighter, with a pleasing daylight colour temp and they fit almost exactly the same as the OEM bulbs. There is no flickering or other weird LED artifacts.

Too bright. Noticeably glared into the backup camera. I'd like to switch to LED's but I can't have them making the backup camera harder to see at night.

I currently have the Philips branded ones installed. No issues since December. They're bright but I haven't had any issues backing up with the camera, but perhaps they can be a bigger issue if your surrounding is pitch black.

I originally bought these other ones from Stage 3 Motorsports but one of them died like 6-7 months after installing them.

I have the SMD2 bulbs in the 6000k version to match the rest of the leds on the truck and would recommend them. There is some glare in the backup camera and I think its mostly due to the color but it doesnt overpower it where you cannot see anything. I have had these almost a year with no bulb failures.

get the Sylvania LED bulb’s from Walmart, Autozone, O’ Reillys and etc..
really good and affordable, also don’t need to wait on any shipping.

These are sweet, would be perfect for a vanity plate.

I threw the Diode Dynamics bulbs in. I don’t notice any glare in my backup camera at night.

I replaced my license plate, cargo, and third brake light bulbs with Sylvania from a local auto parts store. Bulb numbers are in the pics.
