Black emblem - smoked matte / dull chrome

While the black color is obvious, and I was prepared to deal with the brightness of the 'chrome', I ended up a little surprised when seeing that it's not just a blue to black swap. The chrome is lightly smoked and matte providing a much better visual look. While it's not a dark smoked chrome as it should be, it's not half-bad. The black plastic is reflective however.

When I ordered it, it said 2 weeks delivery time but took 10 days; now it's jumped to 4 weeks (not surprised given the emblem issue). https://www.summitracing.com/parts/FMS-M-1447-F15BC (with camera model, without camera is different part#)

yeah, I have a set waiting to be installed as well. It's like the finished of brushed stainless/nickel, without the actual brushing.

Since these were half the cost of custom painted ones, this is the route i took. I can't wait to see them on my truck (need to find time to install them)

I did vinyl overlays. Etsy. $24.99 looks good with the agate black.

Really like the look of these, but then saw that if you have the Trailer Reverse Guidance, you need to realign the camera system. Unfortunately for me, that changes this from a DIY job to having to take the truck into the dealer and have the camera system realigned. Oh well.

I've got the trailer reverse guidance and the front camera has nothing to do with it. The only potential issue is 360 view stitching which is moot for me. I use the front camera to put the front bumper close to something -- what's shown in the camera isn't changed. The rear cameras are not touched at all. I haven't noticed a difference in the 360 view.

If you let the truck go fully to sleep before you make any changes it likely won't be an issue.

I still have to take mine in from when I had my tailgate removed for Line-X. I guess I should wait until after I finish this.

I did the swap during powered step install which caused the batt to go low and truck started deep sleeping. Signs of this include no more 'dog mode' and lack of interior lighting.

I disconnected a few sensors before deep sleep (in-cab side impact) and at first ABS was on then after 2 powerups / drives it went away.

Just quoting from the Ford install guide that I attached (Page 13). Looks like it does have to do with the 360 degree camera vie stitching and 360 camera alignment. Given the various computer module issues I've had with mine, my luck would be that I would need the system realigned.
