Has anyone run duals out the back with 4.0 dia. tips? I want to avoid paying $1,000 but if I have to I probably will.

For 1k, i would rather go dual exhaust. Get a quote from local shop. Cheaper than the prefab kits for sale.

And you will actually get some performance increase along with better sound.

Just find a shop that can weld. I HATE the cheap duals I see daily where the driver side tip is bouncing on every bump because the shop couldn't do a decent bead on the hanger.

I agree with the "do it right" way to do things. No cheap side steps for me. I really want 4" tips with dual walls for improved sound and hope they can clear the rear bumper.
