I am in the process of installing these lights with the plug and play adaptor for the dynamic bending headlights. It’s urgent because my truck is taken apart and I want to figure this out so I don’t have to put it together and take it apart and put it back together again.

When I plug the adapter in, the Raptor lights work, but all of the other lights get messed up. Some on, some off, it’s just all wrong. Also, the Raptor lights won’t turn off, even with the 12 volt battery disconnected. I’ve tried plugging the harness plugs in different orders, it’s always the same result.

Any idea what I need to do? Thanks.

Are you installing it on the driver side light?

Yea, and I only see that one plug in the middle of the light so that’s what I used. Everything snapped in like it should so it seemed like the right plug. Maybe there’s another plug I’m missing somewhere, on the side of the light or something?

No.. according to what I have read that is correct.

THere is only one plug on the 502A headlights

POSSIBLY they reversed the polarity of the connector on their end.

They are pulling from ground and parking lights.

THe polarity would affect the lights going out when plugged in.

I would confirm what wire is 12Volts.

Possible the made a different mistake but it sounds like a polarity issue to me.

Thanks, it seems like I did everything right, especially since the harness snapped in like it should. I guess I’ll put it back together and call them next week about it because it doesn’t seem like it’s going to work.

Ok I took urgent out of the title and put the air box and everything back together. The regular lights seem to work and the warning isn’t showing up on the dash anymore. The Raptor lights are installed and ready to go so I’ll figure it out the harness soon hopefully.

I just want to update this. I talked to Randy at Custom Auto Works. I sent him some pictures and the male end of the harness plug was assembled upside down so he is going to send me a new one. Seems like a great guy and company to help me on a Saturday. It was not a big deal and they really stand behind their product.
