what is the general consensus regarding an actual color match vs a wrap

I have the iconic silver and getting tired of the chrome

wrap....much cheaper, and works as good, and able to restore to all its glory later if need be.

I have an iconic silver xlt sport on order and was planning on wrapping the door handles black at some point just to get a Little more contrast from the side
