Hey Chandler, thank you for your interest in our wheels. You can certainly mount 285/65 tires on our 20x9s. I don't have that specific combo in our gallery (yours will be the first) but I'll provide the link below so you can see all the Fords we've done.

Loving my insurgents so far. Getting some compliments around town.

I wrapped mine with the newer Khumo AT52 275/60/20 tire, and I will note a couple issues: They couldn't get the beads to fully seat on the first try. The tire sidewalls were very narrow initially, or perhaps from shipping. And getting them to relax out to a 9" wheel was tricky, they had to sit overnight after the first try and then use a lot of lube on day 2 to get them all set and holding pressure. So a 285, 295 , or 305 tire would probably work better.
And now I have a vibration that gets pretty nasty above 70 mph, so I'll have to head back to discount tire and request a rebalance. Oy!

I'm sorry you have a vibration issue. If you would, have the fella's make sure hub rings are installed as well. I put wheels on my truck. Did not install the rings. Crazy bad vibration. Installed them and no more vibration! Hope that solves the issue.

WIsh it was something simple like that. I had your boys do the mount and balance, but then I swapped wheels/tires at home in my own garage, and definitely put the hubcentric rings on each corner. But maybe before I sit in the waiting room for a while, I will do a front-rear swap on each side, and see what that changes.
