Is ford working with companies like electrify America to ensure there will be some pull through fast chargers? I don't want to unhook my trailer every 100 miles to charge.
They'll dismiss this next comment but they need faster charging rates. Trucks should be 350kw capable so we're not sitting...
easy to waste money on dumb projects like this when its all payed for by green government grants. inductive charging roads will never happen. the never ending maintenance would be insane. faster charging is much easier and cheaper especially now that everything seems to be moving towards 800v.
Part of the plan includes fast charging infrastructure. I just hope they plan for the future with charging speed capability. A charger installed in 2022 should be capable of 350kw minimum. And of course plan for trailer pull through spots.
I haven't heard from my dealer yet in BC lower mainland but I'm not paying a penny in ADM. Ford needs to realize they will lose customers like myself to Tesla if they let the dealers continue this garbage.
What's to stop the manufacturers from selling direct in countries other than USA? I don't understand why we still have dealers in Canada. Mercedes Benz sells direct here and has traditional dealers.
i walked into a tesla store just to check it out. sales person convinced me to do a test drive. within minutes they handed me a keycard and i was test driving the vehicle by myself. no sales person sitting next to me. i had no intention on test driving anything when i walked in. zero sales...
Ordered a Lightning because Cybertruck keeps getting delayed. I only have one vehicle so it'll be used for city and long trips. Lightning looks amazing. My only complaint is the low range.
