  1. 22PB Crashed Into - Trying To Figure Out What's "Normal" for Insurance Claim (4WD)

Your rear bumper and quarter panel looks exactly like mine looked like after backing into a pole. Was a $6k repair at local Ford dealer. They remove the entire bed to replace the quarter panel. Also had to get new spray bedliner, hitch, and taillight. The paint job wasn't perfect, but neither...
  2. Ford F-150 Extended Warranty from Ford Protect - $25 Over Dealer Cost- PAYMENT PLANS AVAILABLE!

I've got something similar showing in mine too, $3980 for A/C Heating and Unknown on 7/28. I believe that is the date Granger activated my ESP. Maybe this is the retail price of the ESP plan I picked? Someone forgot to uncheck the first service detail option?
  3. Audio alert for blind spot detection?

Our 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee had this, a visible indicator along with an audible alert when you used the turn signal. It was useful and wish the F-150 had it. It could also be turned off in the system settings.
  4. How to remove plastic step cover on rear bumper

Thanks for the replies. I ended up backing into the concrete base of a light pole a few days later. Turns out that there is no support on the ends of the rear bumper. So it just bends back, pushes on the quarter panel until the panel crumbles. So I little 5mph parking lot mistake ends up being a...
  5. How to remove plastic step cover on rear bumper

Was rear-ended at a stop light the other day by an older F-150, maybe 5mph, so no major damage. The black plastic piece that runs on top of the bumper and around the license plate got nicked up and has a small crack. Looks like it's part # 17B807. How difficult is this to replace? Looks like...
  6. Will 18's look too small on my Lariat PB??

FWIW, I switched from stock 18's on my 2018 to 22's from an Expedition and I didn't notice any difference in ride quality on pavement. My 2021 Lariat PB has the non-sport 18's and I like the look of them, but still thinking about going 20" or 22". The biggest change in ride quality I've felt...
  7. 9/20 Build Week

FWIW, received the Iowa transit title in the mail today, exactly two weeks after the purchase. Get to pay the tax man tomorrow... ya!
  8. How hard to remove leather seat covers?

I have 2 kids seats in the back, currently using towels underneath to protect the leather. My research of products designed to protect seats seem to all have some review saying the protector itself left marks, stains, or indentations. I have the slate interior, so a light gray leather. Found...
  9. 9/20 Build Week

For the Granger customers in this week, how long did it take for the paperwork to arrive so you could go register in your state?
  10. Possible to retrofit CCD?

Anyone look into adding CCD to a non-CCD truck? Assume there is some wiring and a controller of some sort besides the actual CCD shocks.
  11. Risk of buying from afar, my Granger experience

Just to clarify, I had asked if the truck had been looked over and I was assured it was because doing so when the transport drops it off is the only time they can file a claim. That was 2 days after it had been delivered, so I booked a flight for 6 days later. PDI didn't happen until the...
  12. Risk of buying from afar, my Granger experience

Quick update. On Friday I went to my local dealer to get estimates on the repairs. Mind blowing how expensive minor damage is to fix... Don't mess up your LED headlights! Sent the #'s to Zach today and he immediately responded that Granger would cover it and send a check. No questions asked...
  13. Disabling PB Fake Engine Noise

When I look at this value in Forscan, there is no option to write the new value for just this. Did you do a Write-All for the ACM?
  14. 2021 F150 AMP Research PowerStep Plug-N-Play Running Boards 76152-01A

Hi, could you send me the forum price for these? Will there be any additional discounts around Black Friday? Thanks!
  15. Previous gen covers fit?

Anyone with experience fitting a cover from the previous gen trucks on a '21? Someone locally is selling a retrax cover from his '19 for a good deal. Looks like retrax has a new model number for the '21.
  16. 8/2 Build Week

Yes, they were checked before I hit the road and they were ~40. I also pushed in a bunch of fuses. IMHO, the 501a without the Chrome Package and FX4 is the best deal out there. Now I just need to fend off the wife that keeps telling me it needs running boards. I like the sleek look better.
  17. Risk of buying from afar, my Granger experience

Just picked up my truck from Granger yesterday. Overall the process and experience was just as others have said on the forum. Easy, straight forward ordering/pricing. Ordered on Aug. 5th, got picked up in the system the next week with a build week of 9/20. Built 9/23, sat in Dearborn for 3...
  18. 8/2 Build Week

Made it back from Iowa last night at 2am. 900 miles, no hiccups and rode nice. I think my 2018 157" still rode a little smoother on the highway. Got the first layer of bugs off and wiped her down. Will post a review of my Granger experience in another thread. Wasn't perfect....
  19. 9/20 Build Week

Picked the truck up yesterday at Granger. Made the 900 mile trek home by 2am. Drives like a dream. Got the first layer of bugs and dirt off today. Definitely a lot of spots that need to get clayed. Love the Smoked Quartz color.
  20. 8/2 Build Week

I'm flying up to Des Moines tonight and closing the deal at Granger first thing Tuesday morning. Fingers crossed it's in perfect condition....
