I have place a piece of suborathane rubber btwn the pedal assembly and the firewall. Still hasn’t changed anything. The only thing touching the truck would be the bolts. Is there some type of vibration in the firewall resonating into the bolts to the pedal assembly??
I
I too think it’s the bolts touching the frame of the truck. I even put soborothane pads in btwn the actual pedal and the wall and I still have vibration. It didn’t fix anything. The bolts are the only thing still touching the truck.
I have a brand new 2021 lariat 3.5 eco Fx4 and have experienced all these issues. Rough ride, vibration in the pedal, my tires are even wearing poorly and only have 6,000mi on the truck. Traded in my 2019 for the same issue. Frustrating to hear others say this is the smoothest ride ever when I...
I just put a soborothane pad under the assembly like some have suggested. Did nothing. I assume it’s gotta be vibrating thru the 3 bolts that hold the assembly to the firewall.
The vibration is worse under strain. Nothing when I rev the engine in neutral.
I currently have the 21 with the 3.5L & adjustable pedals.
I had a 19 5.0L and adjustable pedals with the same issue. That’s why I got rid of it. It’s like deja vu.
I have a vibration feeling in the gas pedal. Even on cruise control it felt as if it was a power tool running. I took it to Ford. They actually acknowledged there was a vibration but went and told me it’s normal and it’s due to the adjustable pedals. Anyone else experiencing this??
I think it has something to do with the actual accelerator assembly. I took a peek at mine. If you have the adjustable pedals, push the button to bring the pedals all the way out (so the pedals are closest to you). Feel behind the accelerator and feel for a threaded rod. Try wiggling that rod...
I don’t notice it as much in neutral as I do in drive, especially up a hill or at highway speed. It’s definitely isolated to the pedal Bc In cruise control the truck feels fine. I’ve even taken my shoes off in cruise control and felt the pedal and it’s vibrating like a power tool
