update: for the past couple of weeks , just out of the blue, my compass has been working perfect everytime. (Knock on wood) Never took it to the dealer or had WiFi updates immediately before. transmission temp also seems to b working as well. I’ll let u guys know if it reverts back.

Ditto...compass and Tran temp works when they feel like it. Had a recent automatic update and both worked for a couple of days and I thought it was resolved but it wasn’t.

Don’t understand why Ford thinks it’s not a big deal?? Had a 2016 Ram who’s CarPlay was flawless from day 1. Compass issue is ridiculous,,I believe it’s tied in to the glitches with the u formation display: Heck,,I had a Hyundai Kona as a rental for a few weeks who’s CarPlay was also flawless...

Thanks Dice,,, So hopefully when we take our trucks in they’ll know,,,,if not I’ll mention it to them. Found out that when my trans temp works then the compass works. Don’t know if it’s a coincidence or if it’s related.

I hear ya,,, Mine still works when it wants to,,certainly less than 50% of the time. Last worked Wednesday pm in my drive home. It’s very petty but c’mon,,there has to be someone at Ford that will know what the problem or fix is.

On my brand new STX with 2K miles my compass is the same,,works maybe 10% of the time before it gets stuck again. Latest new thing is not even displaying in the cluster, its blank where it should display. Transmission temp gauge also works when it feels like it. Car play is also slow as...
