Anybody else notice issues with their Cobb AP since the last OTA update? All of a sudden, my boost is displaying a constant 47lbs (obviously inaccurate), trans temp displaying constant 32 degrees, and oil temp displaying “nan” (not a number). Also, it won’t flash new tunes, says that it’s no...
Just had this happen to my 2021 (no recall for my truck) but for those wondering, this is what it looks like
Is there a way I can fix this myself either via Forscan or otherwise??
Idk if you can mix them up if you buy the “kit” I think it’s either max or pro, and then you get two fog optics yellow or white and two combo optics white only
Good pics, those look really nice! I'm so torn on what to do with my fogs, either the SS3 kit, or the DD bracket with Morimoto 4bangers, or the rigid kit. And then white or yellow. Ughhhhhh
Steeda RSB is better tho. The finish on all my Hellwig products went to shit after 1 year (RSB, FSB, Helper springs). Now my Steeda bar is gorgeous and holding up much better.
Help me understand the theory behind those door plates and why those would be superior than just putting some soft foam/foil sound insulation over the opening
Still hasn't happened again on the Cobb test tune I've been running for several weeks now. I've heard that I'm not the only person that's been experiencing this issue, Cobb is well aware of it, and apparently it is due to some of the options such as dynamic pedal control and/or adjust tire size...
Yeah Cobb and goose have been great. But I even changed tire size in forscan and it was still doing the engine off/clunk. So Cobb sent me a test file with pedal control and “some other custom features” disabled and it hasn’t done it yet. So idk…
what exactly did you change? I’m assuming by...
CVF told me inlets would be ready this past July and downpipes later this year. When I reached out for an update recently, they told me the misspoke and don't know when anymore 🙄🙄
If I could flash only the TCM tune from Cobb, I would absolutely stack with a jb4. But I think the only tunes that adjust the TCM are also a staged tune from Cobb
I mean I had to send my ECU to cobb too. Not really a big deal, total downtime was only 3 days. Seems to be the better route in the...
Could someone maybe help me out here? I feel like I’m not quite grasping it 100% correct.
I got 295/70/18’s and entered that size in the spreadsheet and changed my values accordingly in forscan. Truck was showing 78, while gps was 81. I then entered those speeds in the gps trueing boxes and now...
Just happened again, with the Cobb OTS stage 2 tune on the truck and tire height set to 33.5" per Cobb's instructions. This time though no trouble codes however did get violent trans clunk with momentary loss of power to truck and to tuner, error message on dash said "drive mode not available."...
I want to start by saying I am not complaining or blaming Cobb or any tuner. For all I know I could be doing something wrong and be the cause of my troubles. I am writing this to document the issues I've been having and hope to find a solution.
Background: I have a 2021 F150 XLT/FX4 3.5L...
Absolutely love it. I put the hellwig on my 2014 too and loved it. Why these trucks don't come with a RSB from the factory is beyond me. I will say the hellwig started to rust pretty bad after a couple years tho so I'm hoping the steeda holds up better
