Looks like the XLT I custom ordered before buying my Lariat arrived at the dealer in Charlotte and changed to “final preparation “ status on 7/17. Surprised it only took two weeks to ship from MI to NC.
These are the parts I needed for my 2023 Lariat 3.5L EB 4x4 SC (no High package):
- Windshield rain sensor module #LU5Z17D547B ($50)
- Auto stalk (combination switch) #ML3Z-13K359-AA ($43; also comes in BA & DA versions for different trims)
My local Ford dealer charged me $169 for the Forscan...
I have the rain sensor installed and Forscan reprogrammed, however the dealer told me I need the auto stalk (and perhaps the harness). Does this sound right for a 2023 Lariat?
What are the Ford part numbers and what do they cost? Is it possible to add back the heated steering wheel feature at...
Thanks for the tip — it would be great to have rain sensing wipers on my new Lariat! I ordered the module today and will have it installed at my local Ford dealer along with the other accessories I ordered in about 1-2 weeks. I’ll send an update after it’s installed.
After following this thread for weeks, I finally ordered the parts for my 2023 3.5 EB FX4 SC from the Ford Parts website using the $20-off new customer discount. I’m having it installed at a local Ford dealer along with the fender flares, wheel well liners and mudflaps I ordered. I’ll send an...
Update: Only two days after receiving the generic delay email from Ford, the status of my XLT order switched from In Production to Built on 6/28 (but no window sticker), just over two months after my original 4/25 blend date.
I don’t plan to purchase the XLT since I already bought a Lariat...
I’m having the same issue with the screen freezing, most often when the backup camera goes on. I sent you a message with my dealer name and VIN for my brand new Lariat. I really appreciate your assistance.
I selected eligible items and still couldn’t get the discount code to work. Anyone have success using the code?
Update: I couldn’t get the code to work yesterday but it is working today.
My window sticker disappeared while it was still in production due to manufacturing delays. Not sure why yours would be removed after it was already built.
Agreed. I lucked out and found a Lariat with the EB engine and the options I wanted for not much more than the XLT I had on order. Hope your truck gets built soon!
You are probably better off with the extended version if you’re going for a more aggressive look. Unfortunately I won’t have a picture until the OE flares are installed on Friday.
I liked the clean look of those Bushwacker fender flares without bolts as well but decided to go with the more subtle OE style since I only have 20” tires on my XLT.

Just joined the Oxford White club on Wednesday. First truck we’ve ever owned! Great to drive and really nice interior. Lariat, SC, 5.5’, 3.5L EB, FX4, Max tow, Sport pkg.
We joined the Oxford White Lariat club after trading in our Wrangler on Wednesday. Really nice interior and drives great! Glad that we gave up on our XLT custom order which had been stuck in production for over two months. We bought the Lariat for only $2K more than the XLT since we got a great...
Same here. I didn’t receive any updates on my original order and the dealer had no additional info. That’s why we ended up buying an F150 from inventory. Sorry to hear you sold your current truck prematurely.
Good news… we’re back in the Ford family after we found out the Ram 1500 Laramie had only 8,110 max towing capacity. We ended up getting a great deal at a local Ford dealership where we originally placed our XLT order on an in-stock F150 supercrew 5.5’ 4x4 3.5L Lariat.
Unfortunately with no production or delivery date in sight and the extended production delays experienced by others in this forum, I decided not to wait it out. We bought a 2023 RAM 1500 Laramie which we were able to buy from a local dealer for nearly the same price as the lesser-equipped XLT...
