Finally picked the truck up and it has far exceeded my expectations! It rides so smooth with plenty of power. The hybrid system is great in the city beating my old Focus RS fuel efficiency by 3-4L/100km (4-5 mpg). Can't wait for everyone to get theirs as well!
Well shipping happened very quickly. I saw order track said delivered and called to confirm. I will hopefully be picking up in about a week since the dealership is a bit backed up with orders.
Just called and my truck is now awaiting shipment with an ETA to dealer of July 2. We will see if the date sticks but I am just glad that I am finally built!
I agree it is frustrating. 37 days in production and counting for me. Meanwhile I see the same builds in later weeks fully finished and shipped/delivered.
I'm sticking with stock size 275/60R20 which is the same overall diameter of the tremor if I'm not mistaken (33"). I went with Toyo Open Country AT3 in standard load. I just don't like the rake they come with and I don't tow too often or overly heavy.
I'm in the same boat! I have wheel well liners, leveling kit, tires, bed mat, back-up alarm delete and husky liners now just waiting for a truck that may be September now
To me it seems like if Ford gets a shipment of chips/parts they put it into the assembly line so some trucks are getting lucky and being built while others are put on chip hold waiting for a surplus of chips/parts. I would think it would be much more efficient for Ford to integrate parts in the...
I called again because I am an impatient person only to find out they have the chip delay going to September 17th now. I'm really hoping it's not that long but for the time being I'll keep enjoying my Focus RS.
I am very happy to hear this as you have a very similar build to myself. I have been stuck in the "In Production" stage for awhile but am in the 5/9 build week.
I seem to be in the same boat as a few. Mine is being built at Dearborn but am also on chip hold. I do not have the max tow package.
Ordered: 4/12
Blend Date: 5/10
In Production: 5/11
Est. Chip Date of 5/14-5/20
All my modules are loaded and the "activate vehicle" button is available. I was...
Order date April 12, 2022
Blend date May 10, 2022
I can second this happening. Mine was giving an error message for activation but now it tells me I can't activate until I receive delivery of the vehicle.
Modules showed up yesterday but I'm still "In Production".
The 285/60r20 are roughly 60lbs each? I've been considering staying stock size but going with the general grabber atx. Still not seeing a significant drop in L/100km? And how has been the snow performance?
