So I took mine in about a month ago and same thing. Adjusted the blade and then told me it was good. Go figure it wasn't and I'll have to take it back again. I believe it's within my skill set to do what the tech has done, but I'm not sure repositioning it is enough of a remedy.
Got here a full week early. Went from the old 96 to something 25 years younger. Couldn’t be more happy although I’ll miss old Bruce!
Lariat Super Crew Power Boost, fold flat work surface twin panel moon roof 157in wheel base.
Just like @currybob said I looked 1 week prior to my build and my window sticker populated. So about 6 or 7 days ahead of build date yours should as well.
1/18 build date for me!!!!
I ordered a Lariat PB 11/11/2020 have my vin and a build date of 1/18. Just got my window sticker today! I have been hearing really great stuff about the truck so I can’t wait!
A couple of people in my auto enthusiast circle have been voicing the powerboost as a justification for a truck. Getting similar or better than MPG than some SUV's out there along with the other tech and ability, might be bringing some additional buyers. Just a Saturday morning hot take!
Ordered 11/11 - VIN received today
Rapid Red Lariat, 501A Mid, Powerboost, Work surface, 3:73, long wheelbase, panoramic roof, chrome package
Scheduled build date 1/18
So pumped!!!!
Hate to say it, but i'm considering the same. At this point I see a couple of Platinums/Limiteds out there 2020 that I think I could take a run at and have significant savings over waiting for the 21. But i'm going to hold out another couple of weeks and see if I can at least get a VIN. My order...
I would advise having another chat with your dealer. A good bit of folks here with powerboost have built trucks that are awaiting shipping, so I would imagine they will have them in their hands before years end or January. May/June seems absurd.
Mine is a retail order, but some of the trucks just started showing up on the lots here in Pittsburgh, and.... boy howdy its a struggle not to just stroll up and try and get a deal done. Going to try and be patient, i'm determined to get the powerboost with the work surface.
Truth be told if Ford does not get things some what on schedule here soon, they are risking an extraordinary dip in stock (outside of the normal re-tooling dip), and obviously chancing a falling out with dealers/consumers etc... I'm rooting for them to get things fixed in these very challenging...
