My truck came with 275/60R20 tires because of some combination of 4x4, max tow, PB I assume. I have always had separate rims for winter and summer tires and my previous car did not have the same size rims for both sets. I will tow some in the winter but more in the summer. Do I get the same...
This thread got me reading again. I found this frame on YouTube, but the video didn't really explain it. It looks like there is a base weight that is included by default so that you can be outside the vehicle, load the vehicle and know if you will be over the payload when you get in the vehicle...
Since this thread just got bumped, if anyone is interested in comparing parts on different vins, Canadian trucks with 302A included the trailer tow package, definitely in 2022, but I'm pretty sure in 2021 as well. You would just have to find a matching Canadian truck and it's vin. I added the...
I realized today that I don't think I've seen this in person on this generation of Fords... But it is what I ordered. Please show me pictures if you have one?
Bonus if it's any of XLT, chrome package, PowerBoost
TIA!
Some of what is in that document is definitely not correct, so I don't know that I would rely on any of it.
It would be great if it came with that axle though... Thats the 3/4 floating one I believe
I did find info to get a better estimate on curb weight in the eSource book that I can calculate based on my build, with the GVWR, that gets me a closer estimate on payload. The dealer payload+curb > GVWR so it can't be right.
Another thing I have found based on my meticulous reading is that...
Oh! Thanks! That explains it! Where did you find that? Can you share the whole XLT part of the document? I've only been able to find Canada 2021 and US 2022!
In general yes, tow package is an option, but for whatever reason (Canada, PowerBoost, 4x4, 302a, 157.2wb, some combination...) the trailer tow package is included on this build. I don't know why, but luckily it is. I really wish I could figure out all the contradictions.
The max tow package has even higher advertised weights, GCWR of 18400 lbs and towing capacity of 12400 lbs. The numbers I posted were advertised without the max tow package. The truck I built has 53A included on 302a (which includes all of 53B) and the addition of the 360 camera effectively...
I went in to the dealership to confirm the specs on the truck I built online and to order it. But then when we get to the end of the build the gcwr is only 14800 lbs, compared to the 17000 lbs in all the technical spec docs from ford, and towing capacity is only 9300 lbs, compared to the...
For reference, I'm looking at the 2022 PowerBoost XLT 302A high and 4x4. I am torn between the chrome (40/console/40) and sport appearance packages. I think I understand most of the differences other than the lumbar support. Anyone know if the driver lumbar support is manually adjustable or not...
