I did find info to get a better estimate on curb weight in the eSource book that I can calculate based on my build, with the GVWR, that gets me a closer estimate on payload. The dealer payload+curb > GVWR so it can't be right. Another thing I have found based on my meticulous reading is that...

In general yes, tow package is an option, but for whatever reason (Canada, PowerBoost, 4x4, 302a, 157.2wb, some combination...) the trailer tow package is included on this build. I don't know why, but luckily it is. I really wish I could figure out all the contradictions.

This is the weight ratings info from the dealer, including GAWR, for the build I listed above

The max tow package has even higher advertised weights, GCWR of 18400 lbs and towing capacity of 12400 lbs. The numbers I posted were advertised without the max tow package. The truck I built has 53A included on 302a (which includes all of 53B) and the addition of the 360 camera effectively...
