Coilover install was surprisingly easy. Was worried about passenger side access but it was a non issue. Wheels fit over the max tow package calipers, occasional rubbing at full lock in reverse but it's really minor. Couple MPG reduction in fuel economy but still average 19-20 mpg. Really happy with how it came out and ride quality. Waiting on a bed shell now, hopefully another couple of weeks.

How did you get the mirror caps to be shiny black? Remove and paint them? Or can you buy them like that?

Wow, looks great. I am sold on Fox 2.5 Elite but am contemplating 17 vs. 18 inch. Good to know no caliper issue with 17. Also like 701s. I do so like the Toyos. Curious, why not 18" Methods?

Awesome longboi! I love it! Hope I’m not derailing the thread, I was wondering what kind of highway mileage (specifically 75+ mph) were you seeing before the level and tires? Also curious what your payload rating is with the Lariat trim, Powerboost drivetrain, and long wheelbase?

How much lift in the front did you get from the coilovers and is there more room for adjustment? I did a 2.5 spacer on mine and I think it settled a little because I have more rubbing now then I did right after I had it done. I wish I had measured before and after.

Truck looks phenomenal!

Do you have any shots or measurements showing the clearance between the rear calipers and the inner wheel surface? Looking to get an idea how close that fit is.

I have a lariat with max tow and found 18x9 at +18mm offset with a 295/70-r18 is super close to rubbing with a 2" level. The perfect size one step down in an 18 is an odd size not made by Wildpeak in an AT3w. IF I can get 17's to fit reasonably, I running 285/75-r17's would be a perfect arrangement in my preferred tire.

I don't think 703s are available in an 18"

I hadn't driven much in the highway before level and tires, truck still only has 3k miles. Payload is pretty low, only around 1200lbs I think. Will pretty easily max that out with my boat hooked up and family in the truck. My prior truck was a 2018 with a 3.5 and payload was around 1800lbs if I remember. The Fox 2.5s are adjustable and haven't towed yet with them, but curious to see if stiffening the rears up helps at all

I got just under 2". I think it was 37.75 or right around that before and now about 39.75. I did add preload though, Fox recommends adding .35" of preload for Powerboost models or will only get 1.5" of lift

I can take a photo later, but I had same concern with 17s fitting over max tow calipers. When I got them installed, they said no problem fitting. 285-75R17 was a good trade off I thought for weight increase and size increase. I didn't want to totally lose the benefit of fuel saving and still seem to go into electric mode the same as before. Also no change to speedometer, I was hoping to avoid having to recalibrate and a bigger tire I think you may have to

If you are still game to share a photo of the caliper clearance would you mind sharing a picture of the tire poke from the front or rear? With all the ran and crappy weather we get here in the PNW I'd like to try and keep the tires reasonably behind the fenders.

It's not too bad with spraying the side of the truck, I'm in the PNW as well. Was goose hunting on the east side a few weeks ago and drove in some muddy fields and got some mud spray on the side of the truck but regular driving is fine

2022 F-150 Lariat PB Rapid Red with BAP
They came that way, I think it's part of the Sport appearance package
I am not sure there’s any consistency with the mirror caps. I bought a ‘22 Lariat with BAP and tow mirrors and it came with chrome caps. Makes zero sense to put chrome caps on a truck with a BAP. I ended up buying new ones and had them painted Rapid Red to match the rest of the truck.

With the 24 MY, I don’t think tow mirrors are even an option on most of the F-150s. Not sure why they took that option away.
