Hey all,

I wanted to share my experience with ceramic coating/frame protection. I went through a shop in my area called Perfection Auto Care. I did a 5 year ceramic coat/paint correction along with IGL frame protection. I think it turned out beautiful.

Hydrophobic clear gloss sealant. Initially designed for corrosion protection on industrial equipment, but found to work well with frame protection to road elements. It was about 400$ for entire frame.

Looks great! And $400 isn't bad at all for that. Looks like they sprayed everything (shocks, leaf springs, coil springs, control arms), or is that just you're super shiny undercarriage?

And you have now become part of a long-term study group on this site to see how it holds up. ;)

IGL coating on everything frame and suspension components.

For those wondering about IGL, its a version of anti-corrosion clear(acr) coating and this brand uses Nano tech. to help bead the water away. Another acr you've probably heard of is por15. These are better, imo, than using oils which drip and get messy for those of us who have to work/touch the undersides of our trucks. Plus it lasts longer.

Looks great. I sprayed everything underneath with the sheep oil (forgot the name) before a winter trip to Colorado, and $400 is a really really good deal-- and looks like they did a great job.
