Is it the same rear end gear? I really have no idea why it went down.
true. Lots of factors at play here.. I’ll reserve judgement until something more official comes out.

No 5.0 4x4?
Not that it matters much.
All it has to do is to be better than my old k1500

I am assuming the diesel numbers are the same? Hopefully the power boost gets better than advertised real world numbers too!

Shoot, I would be happy with those numbers on the PowerBoost. My 18 would get 22 hwy and that I believe is what it was rated for.

I'm curious to see what I get pulling my boat.

I’m sure Ford is learning their lesson with MPG numbers they advertise, given the lawsuits haha. Wouldn’t be surprised to see the PB flirt with the high end of 20mpg.

Drivers habits are also huge on the MPGs but I've never had issues getting what is on the sticker.

It does help that in my area we don't have some additives required that hurt the fuel mileage. Always 87 Octane and a top tier fuel.

This is the total average I had on my truck at almost 9500 miles. This includes me pulling my bass boat fishing which was often. I really don't do much interstate driving at all but rural driving mostly.

I never reset my trip 2 so I could get the lifetime mileage, forgot to get a photo of it when they bought my truck. I had 19,050 miles on it. Lifetime had been a hair over 19 mpg for awhile but not sure what it was the day I sold it.

I was happy with that

looks like I’m not the only one who did that haha. I always wondered though if it counted lifetime of just the most recent 10k miles. I sold mine with a 20.7 avg but that’s because I leveled and added 34’s lol. Never towed anything.

you and others here are getting much better numbers on the eco boost than I did. Then again I had the 2016 one and it sent a lot of time at the dealers for repairs.

My RCF barely gets better than that, And it runs in both Atkinson cycle and Otto cycle modes.
