I've never paid sticker for a new F150 in my life until 2021.

My 2013 XLT was $32,000 out the door.

Yup, I just noticed the CDN build and price was up too.....
My '22 XLT 302a would cost 10K more today as well.

+$10k CAD for me as well. Base MSRP of a '23 is what my entire '22 net price came to after options and packages (2.7 engine, 2.7 payload pack, sport appearance pack, 4x4)

We're no better than the communists we claim to fight, if we can't speak our minds in public forum!

I wonder if this is a lead up to Ford being able to have 10K rebates soon?
At least on all the 22's that are just arriving on lots now.

For Canadians the 4.99 - 5.49% APR finance rates on new '23 orders stings as well. If I were looking, I'd for sure be checking lots for '22s while the 1.49% rate is still available (Jan 31, 2023)

Yep! And they did have .99% at the beginning of 2022.

Umm...you're building an RCSB. Most people want a SCrew 4x4.
It is one way to beat the price increases on new trucks and drive less miles. I hated my crew cab truck because I became everyone’s chauffeur and it became the obligatory road trip vehicle. I told the salesperson that I wouldn’t own a crew cab ever again unless it was given to me along with a gas card.

No shit, every price increase thread is inextricably linked to the “i-word,” yet we’re not allowed to discuss it in context. It’s hilarious, it makes every discussion look like we’re all living under a moss covered rock.

I was able to get 1.9 at 5 years here in US. They still have some .99% offers for 3 years. The only thing I'm displeased with given the current financial situation is that I put too much down given that said funds would be better used elsewhere. Getting paid to borrow money is quite nice.

From what I have seen on here, we can talk about inflation all we want. The problem is that it seems to always devolve into a political discussion, and understandably so because it’s very obvious what’s causing it. I don’t believe that it is intended as censorship, so much as keeping this place a safe haven away from politics.

however, I do not run this forum so I cannot speak from the admin point of view, only my perception of said view.

I think if we stay away from the politics of it all (from BOTH sides) then the inflation discussion is perfectly acceptable

LOL. I barely even let my own family ride in it....and when I do, I am irritated about the dirt carried by their shoes into my pristine truck. Can it be just MINE alone? :D :D

My 5 year old boys learned really quick how to sit in it and be respectful. I trust them more than adults in my truck.

Gents, some of us thinking about ordering a ‘23 f150 don’t really appreciate the repeated reminder of how badly we missed the boat on ordering a ‘22 instead to save several thousand dollars, lol.

Lots of reasons for the price hikes. Inflation, materials and component shortages, general market uncertainty, loan interest rates…. I could go on.

The price hike is at least slightly more palatable with dealers like Granger willing to go 3% under invoice. People paying MSRP or higher for new cars blow my mind….That said i am probably also a fool to be seriously considering a vehicle that costs this much. o_O

Yes, Ford (and other manufacturers) can forget about any new business from me for a while. Regardless of reason, these price increases are placing vehicles out of reach. My lease on my 2020 s-crew XLT FX4 5.0 is up in July. Residual to buy out is $30k, and I haven't even turned 18,000 miles on it yet. So I'm just buying it out and saving $20k.
