Wot hesitation shifting?

Just curious if anyone has had an issue when wot the trans seems to have trouble shifting? Not a big issue but have seen so many videos of 0-100 pulls where there is no hesitation between shifts at all. 5.0 w 3.73

A bit late to reply to this, but try to give it just a litttle bit of throttle before smashing the gas pedal. it makes my 10-6 downshift on a highway pull very smooth. If i just slam the gas pedal when the truck is cruising without a little tip in throttle, then it will hesitate when shifting slightly (almost like a 10-8-6) and you can feel it shift. I have a 23 tremor- 3.5 ecoboost- 3.73.

I’m curious as to what drive mode you were in at the time? Most videos I’ve seen that demonstrated WOT are using Sport Mode, which obviously has its own set of shift points.

PB driver here, but normal mode wot pedal smash from a steady speed induces a terrible delay worse than Clark Kent stepping into a phone booth.

Sport mode and it’s ready for you to smash that pedal.

I have found in all the eco boost and turbo diesels
A smooth application of go pedal nets a lets go.
A dump to the floor , subsequently causes delay or weird shifting and a pause of sorts.
