Hi All, just wondering if their is a simple way to run some electrical wires from the bed to the interior cabin and to the battery? Any removable rubber grommets for that purpose or we have to drill?

Thanks

Planning to put some lights onto the back rack for utility purposes....

Your probably goin from box to the firewall on the passenger side because of the battery but the cab is only accessible from the drivers foot well. at least that's my 2 cents!

I pulled the sound deadening cover on the rear bulkhead off and found two small grommets that may be of use to get out of the cab in the rear. Then drill through the plastic covers at the bottom front of the bed. As far as the firewall to the battery, driver side looks much easier to use the existing grommet. In the 2019 you could go through either side but getting access to the passenger side was a PITA.

The last gen F-150, and the current gen Superduties have optional upfitter switches for this purpose - all the wiring already in place. Ford must assume us mere mortals no longer need extra lights or push snow with F-150's. They may have a point - right tool for the job, etc.
