Congratulations for Miss State winning the College World Series. Question, Is the tint within the legal limits of Texas?

The sides are legal. I'm not sure about the windshield but it looks clear up close. My understanding is it's not something enforced and worst case you just remove it. The factory glass is stamped with a 70% VLT sticker which technically isn't legal in TX.

I installed Llumar Air 80 to my 2015 F-150 it's barely noticeable and many of my police friends had no idea it was tinted at all. It made a huge difference on the inside temp of the vehicle and the A/C will straight up freeze you out. I will have it installed on my 21 when it arrives.

Does anyone with a tinted windshield have issues with the headlights staying on or being on more than they should be?

I have 50% llumar tint on the windshield. The area where the ADAS / rain sensor / light system is unaffected. That area is not tinted, nor is it visible that there's tint on the windshield.

The only film I've applied that I'm not happy with is the german made screen (spiegen) protector that is "matte" -- caused it to be less sharp. Do not suggest anyone use that.

Windshield however, go 50% and enjoy.

Thanks, I thought the headlight sensor was on the dash in front of the storage tray area.

This is the light sensor for headlights and HVAC

I do know that my head lights work as expected though.

Okay, wow, completely unexpected.... Well, read what that sensor is... see for yourself. Still don't believe it to be true!?

Makes sense why it has rubber isolation, but dual zone AC temp sensor!? Wow, not sure what to say about that one....

Anyone complaining about their auto AC might just make a whole lot more sense now though

5% All Around with 35% Windshield. Had it on my previous vehicle so I’m used to it ??‍ Too hot in Hawaii for no tint.

Ok. Was the 5% and 35% in the pictures ceramic as well? Asking because I'm considering that exact setup but trying to decide between regular or ceramic and I've read that ceramic can have a slightly different appearance than regular sometimes so just wondering what I was looking at. Really like the 100% deep black look

35% Ceramic on the windshield, glass roof has 15%, and sides and back are 5%. My last truck I had 15% on the windshield, was a bit tough at night on back roads though.

Yeah it’s ceramic in the pictures. This is now with the 20%
