Will the dual 3.5 muffler fit on 5.0?

Will the 3.5 Ecoboost Tremor/BAP dual muffler will fit on a 5.0? And even though it may fit, I am guessing that it is tuned for the 3.5 and it may not sound quite right on the 5.0.

It looks like the 3.5 BAP and 5.0 BAP trucks both use the same PL3Z-5230-B muffler assembly, but the resonators are different.

Thanks for checking into that for me. I found a 3.5 dual exhaust on FB Marketplace and wanted to make sure it would work with the 5.0 before pulling the trigger. Is it OK to assume I could keep my resonator and just swap out the muffler? I want the tips to exit behind the tires on each side so I would have an exhaust shop do that and just scrap the rest of the dual OEM pipes.

It looks like a 3.5EB XLT with single exhaust and a 3.5EB Tremor with dual exhaust use different resonators and catalyst assemblies. A 5.0 XL with single exhaust and a 5.0 Tremor both use the same resonators and catalyst assemblies.

Since the muffler is the same between 3.5EB and 5.0 Tremors, you should have no issues swapping the 3.5EB muffler onto your 5.0 truck, but if you had a 3.5EB single exhaust truck, you might have fitment or exhaust tone/drone issues with the single exhaust resonator.
