Why order now vs wait?

Ford is accepting retail orders we have many in there already...

Now they may have filled his allocation prior to your order but I cannot know that...

Retail orders are always processed prior to stock orders...

The allocation system is where it gets messy...

If they did not have any orders when the allocation was pulled they filled in with stock orders...we all do so we do not lose allocation...

If there are retail orders in there then Ford picks them up filling an allocation slot prior to stock orders...

That is just a clarification of what you were told...
My dealer is telling me on start-up they will only build stock orders until the start of Job 1 when pre-sold units take priority. They did an order for me of each and I get whichever comes first. The stock order already has a VIN.

Does this sound correct?

Sounds somewhat right, we usually get the "stock" models that are the first runs...
