Last new Ford I had was. 99 Regular Cab
Since I’ve been driving Tacoma’s
2000 was bought back frame rust
2015 I traded on 22 STX
Have 2.7 and although power is amazing, was poor choice because of the weak hold back on hills because it’s tiny should have got 5.0 but would be fine in flatland
But what I love is the cavern back seat area
I have vinyl floor and love it
You can fold seat up and it’s huge area.
I can haul extra 10hp outboard motor for my boat
Batteries,or even had to sleep there one time
I recently looked at same area in 24 Tundra and seems nothing is there
You can fold seat but it’s complicated and you end up with much smaller raised off floor deal
Not suitable for “rough” items
This was plain SR model
I sit in drivers seat and it had no lumbar bulge whatsoever and not even manual adjustment
Thread was coming loose on seat and looks like 5” rip but just came loose
No receiver to haul trailer along with no female wiring plug ins
and it was 5K more than I paid for the Ford
I’ve not looked at the offerings from Chevy and Dodge so they be better
Thanks for reading!

There is a problem with that flat floor if you have vinyl or smooth floor covering like my Tuxmat. Everything slides all over the floor. It's annoying having to chase down tools or whatever I have laying outside my storage bin. 🤣🤣

I'm quite happy with the 2.7 coming off a 2011 3.5. The specifications show roughly same HP since I never tuned my 2011. I don't feel any lack of power and I get 5-8 MPG more in city driving so can't complain about that either.

That is my only problem with the Tuxmat, other than that they are great. I have found creative ways of stopping cargo from sliding.
