last week i had the oil changed on thursday.

that evening my alarm went off and ford pass said it was intrusion
so i went out, with flashlight, and all my yard lights came on as walked to the truck
i clicked unlock and truck lit up all around and no people trying to get in.
i opened door and nothing amiss or broken
so i locked it and went back in.
and figured it was a fluke

then saturday night it did it again
same look , and nothing
then sunday afternoon one more time
so i get in an start truck and look at settings and some how the inside alarm had turned itself back on

i shut off truck and looked around until i found a culprit....a june bug must have flown in and decided to play..light my fire and fly around the truck 🤗 🤗

how do settings change by themselves???

Ive posted on things like this before... twice... no one ever replies.
Every 30 days or so my 'driver assistance' (whatever its called) turns on by itself. I only know it cuz my dash starts blowing up if Im too close to the car in front of me. Some other things seem to reset also, maybe my stereo settings? I cant recall, but its a pain my _____ and i know its not me changing things.

I would check your hood latch mech. Alarm will sound if it sense the hood is open. Happened a few times on my 2015 Plat.

I don't see how bug would set off motion sensor unless it was landing on sensor.
If you never want the sensor might be easier to unplug them. Can't explain how settings are being reset. Now that I think of it my truck stopped prompting me if I want motion sensors on exit. Maybe an OTA reset it to default of always on. 🤷‍♂️

Haven't noticed that but I changed so many settings on the truck I can't recall everything I've changed at this point.

bugs flying inside the cabin will set off the alarm..it did it in my 21 super duty as well
hence turning off the interior things..we have BIG flying things around here , moths, june bugs etc
that have sick sense of humor in wee hours of the night
