I figured it out fellas, Ford Build and price has an extra "acquisition fee" that the dealership doesn't charge, also it doesn't charge for the engine upgrade at all, and it wont include any ford package discounts. Fix those discrepancies manually and you'll get the dealership quote price ($5 off in my case).

Whatever I do, the numbers are not right.
$65,555 with "my" build, $65,200 on ford.com but if I add up all the line items on ford.com I get $65,400, $200 more. The sum options from the Ford website is $12,580 but on their web site it shows $12,380. Really not sure what's going on.

Can I see the full picture of both your build and price set up and dealer quote?

FYI the build site defaults to Lease which is why there is an acquisition fee. Change it to Finance and that fee goes away.

Go back to the B&C of Ford.com. Do only "base" Lariat. Don't change or add anything except 502A. You will see the configurator calls out the item as $6920 in the details but only shows $5920 charge under Total of Options. So either configurator has a mistake, or they are giving a $1000 rebate back (like they do on some of the other trims and packages combination) but not showing it explicitly on the summary.

Edit: Just checked Ford does the same (i.e. hides the discount in the config) on other configs. For KR 601A is shown as $4560 but there is a $500 discount so adds in at $4060. Then on the Chrome Pkg which shows $1995, but goes in with a $750 discount (if you have 601A) for $1245. So in the details options you would see 601A - $4560 and Chrome pkg - $1995, which you would think adds $6555 in options, but instead totals up to $5305 (i.e. $1250 in discounts for getting both packages).

This is what I am looking at. It's the base MSRP for a Lariat SuperCrew 5.5' bed 4X4. I did not add any options yet (other than changing the engine to 5.0L), but even after adding equipment group and/or all other options, this base MSRP will remain at $50,480.

Finally got to the answer. Ford raised the price of the truck by $500 and it is not reflected on the Ford Website. Below is a window sticker from a Lariat that is currently for sale at a local dealer. The new base price of the Lariat 4x4 is $50,980.

Thank you. This explains it.

That's strange because on the price list that's on the forum from back in 7/20/2020 it shows the base price of that specific Lariat at $50,980 so I don't get why the build an price on the website shows it at $50,480.

Also I calculated all the options on the ford website build and price and after adding them, it comes out to $12,580 even though the website says $12,380. So that $200 discrepancy plus the $800 5.0L upcharge that's also missing gives you the $1,000 difference on your earlier post.

SBI, see my post above. There is a pkg discount for 502a of $1000. The build&config summary doesn't make it clear, as it doesn't show the discount, and DOES show the pkg in the details at $6920, but only adds in $5920 on the totals side of the page (left side).

Looks like the $1000 502A rebate applies only to the 2.7L:

Change to 5.0L and the rebate is only $200:

SBI ?, no, when you also select V8, that adds $800. So your options now are $800 + $6920 but it only adds $6720 (i.e. 800+6920-1000).

The $1000 discount is there no matter what other options you add. So going back to your original post with the details on all your options that added individually to $13,380, but the config was only adding $12,380 to the base.
