A SuperCrew 5.5' bed, 4X4, is $50,480 (base, without any options or changes).
5.0L engine is additional $800.
Two dealers quoted me $50,980 and added additional $800 for the 5.0L engine.
In addition, for some reason they refuse to acknowledge that Integrated Trailer Brake (67T) is a stand-alone option and insist on ordering Tow Technology Package (17T).

What is the exact specs you went with? I have not been able to find a SuperCrew 5.5' bed, 4X4 for $50,480. Before adding the 5.0L the Ford site shows an XLT is $46,145 and a Lariat is $52,820.

Love to try to help. Have you asked the dealers to send you the quote. You should be able to match up their quote dollar for dollar with what Ford shows on the site.

This is what I am looking at. It's the base MSRP for a Lariat SuperCrew 5.5' bed 4X4. I did not add any options yet (other than changing the engine to 5.0L), but even after adding equipment group and/or all other options, this base MSRP will remain at $50,480.

Okay so I noticed this as well when ordering mine. After much cross referencing with the MSRP of my options (going down the price list) I noticed that it will not include the upcharge price for the engine in the MSRP of the Ford website. It'll also add a $645 "acquisition fee" that the dealership doesn't charge and with certain options you will get a discount on the window sticker from ford. Mine was "xlt high chrm or sport" -2,000.00. After all of this, I was still $5 off somehow but at least I was able to figure out why the pricing was different at the dealership than the website.

But the upcharge for the engine is listed separately, as an option, and the quote that the dealerships sent had $50,980 (already $500 higher) and the $800 upcharge for the engine in addition.

Build on ford website was $56,695, Dealership was $56,050. So $56,695 ford website quote +$1,995 5.0L engine upcharge -$645 acquisition fee -$2,000 xlt high chrm sport discount=$56,045. $5 off dealership price.

after you build it on the ford website go to summary and check all the options its charging you for and see if you can find the $800 upcharge. I couldn't find mine anywhere even though I added the $1995 5.0L engine option.

It will add the 5.0L to the base msrp list of options but wont increase the price and that is where the discrepancy is, along with the other stuff I mentioned, its weird I know.

It doesn't, which makes the dealership quote even higher: $50,480 on ford.com (with 5.0L engine), and $51,780 from two dealerships (so far):

Yeah its a ford website glitch where they don't charge you for the engine on the website but the ford system at the dealership will and there's no way around that. The website price is slightly inaccurate. Can you post a full picture of both your dealership quote and ford quote where it shows all the options? I will be happy to look into it and explain where the cost difference is. I went crazy trying to find mine as well so I know the feeling and confusion.

I couldn’t figure that out either. I had the same discrepancy while ordering.

My truck’s MSRP was $68,000 base, but the dealer invoice/order form read $68,800. I went through it as throughly as I could and all the options prices and specs seemed to match. I couldn’t figure it out.

It was a non-issue because the negotiated price was where I wanted it.

I had this too when I placed my order back in March. I sent the dealer a printout from the B&P tool and the base MSRP was $500 more than Ford's site. Everything else was the same except the base MSRP. They didn't know, nor did I, and I wasn't too concerned.

My paper work only showed 2200 for poweeboost. Shows more on ford site.

I figured it out fellas, Ford Build and price has an extra "acquisition fee" that the dealership doesn't charge, also it doesn't charge for the engine upgrade at all, and it wont include any ford package discounts. Fix those discrepancies manually and you'll get the dealership quote price ($5 off in my case).
