Why a delay on the 3.0 diesel

I was able to get in that same 6.5 - 7 L/100km with the 3.31 axles, but I had to drive like a grandpa to get there

Well everyone I finally got my truck after a hair over 6 month wait. Pick it up April 7th and the truck turnout just as I order. It was a long wait and I new it would because of the diesel delay. The only problem is that I ended up in the hospital with pneumonia haven't had a chance to really enjoy the truck. Everyone be very patient and your truck will eventually come. One last thing about this website is that it help me alot to learn and continue to learn about the F150 that we all love to enjoy. Also thanks at all that posted replays on this thread. Will post some pictures when I get out of the hospital.

I finally got around to taking the pictures of my truck today. This is what I have in the truck.
1. 502a sport package
2. 6 1/2 foot bed
3. FX4 package
4. Trailer tow package
5. Power tailgate
6. 3.0 diesel
7. 3:55 rear end
8.Power running boards
9. Work Station
10. I change out the tires for Michelin Defender LTX M/S 275/60R20
11. Truck Covers USA Rolltop
12. Spray in liner was done at dealer ( cheaper done there)
13. Iconic Silver
14. Trailer tow Mirrors
Note: It told me 6 months to get truck and it was well worth the wait!!

I'm at less than one month. Ordered on March 29, and got my VIN# today. I'm hoping for anytime before Christmas...

Status says ‘in order processing’ and no window sticker generated yet.

Why is there a delay on the 3.0 diesel? Could it be possible that the engine will be upgraded on hp and torque?

Don't think there is a delay, Ford doesn't market the Diesel engine in the f150 as far as I know. I don't know how many times I've been in traffic and had another f150 owner give me the roll down the window sign. They were all shocked to see PowerStroke on the door of the f150.
