The 3.0 diesel is built in England and I can't understand how a 2021 F150 with a diesel can show up at a dealer. When Ford is saying "Late Availability" on this engine.

I've been trying to buy the diesel since it came out. Ford sure is proud of them $$ wise. Most expensive engine in the lineup, and they back them with lesser rebates than the gassers where I live.
well that’s somewhat promising, congrats. What date did you order & some of the other specs of your build?I got word from my salesman yesterday that my truck will be built on the week of 3/15. Hope and wondering if they increase the hp and torque on the diesel.
We get $500 off I think, what is it in Canada?I've been trying to buy the diesel since it came out. Ford sure is proud of them $$ wise. Most expensive engine in the lineup, and they back them with lesser rebates than the gassers where I live.

It is a $4000 cost over and above the 3.5L, and you get a $1000 smaller rebate. Basically the engine is a $5,000 cost over the 3.5. Pass.We get $500 off I think, what is it in Canada?
The only real way to come out ahead on any of these trucks is to keep them for as long as possible.I perfered the diesel engine over a gas engine for the tourqe and fuel milage. I had a number of Super Duties with the Power Stroke engine and I like the diesel. Yes it cost alot more for the diesel, but I heard and reader some negative things about the Eco Boost engine as far as reliability and longevity.
