White Splotch on door sill, any ideas?

Does anyone know or can tell me what would be the best to use on this white splotch? It’s specifically just on that door sill material in this one spot. You can wet it and seems to go away then comes back. I’ve tried interior cleaners, goes away but doesn’t fix it. Don’t know if the material just in that spot has faded or what. Almost seems like the oxidation stuff that pops up on on middle of steering wheel.

I get splotches like that of deodorant or sun screen. I’d try some warm water, dawn, and a rag.

Could it possibly be a light scuff mark? If it is it’s going to be hard to permanently get rid of.

Ive used interior cleaners it goes away but literally comes right back

I can literally say I’ve hit nothing in that area with anything that would have done that. When I use interior cleaner it goes away then comes back.

I have used Chemical Guys interior, seems to work get rid of that.

I’ll have to try that out, I’ve always used their basic interior cleaner. So you had the same issue with that spot?

Try this stuff. Works wonders on removing my wifes makeup and sunscreen from various materials in our cars

Yessir. Works on leather as well as fabrics like on the sun visor or headliner

Yeah I've had that same problem trying to use products that were specific to interior detailing/cleaning. One day when trying to get my wife's concealer (or whatever the tan colored stuff is) off of the sun visor in her Tesla with "interior cleaner" which had little effect, I was already cleaning the seats with the Griot's Leather cleaner product and thought -why not. sprayed it on the fabric, and wiped it with a micorfiber cloth. Poof, makup gone. Same thing with sunscreen smudges on the center console and arm rests.
