How many other 2.7 owners have white smoke at start up regardless of outside temperature?

hey I know it’s been a while but did you ever learn anymore about this? Mine does this and it’s only a month old
From the internet research I have done it is pretty commmon on the eco boost engines at start up. It comes and goes for me and I watched it very closely to make sure it wasn’t blueish in colour which would indicate engine oil burning. It always goes away after initial startup so I am assuming it’s just condensation. If yours does it after warm up I would contact the dealer. Sorry I can’t be of more help.

I had the 2016 2.7L xlt and it would smoke white at all different temps. Sometimes I saw heavier smoke when I jumped on it and then it would go away. We topped off oil and checked oil consumption. Turned out it was going thru oil pretty fast. Ford wound up replacing the whole motor at 6000 miles. BTW it never looked like dark oily smoke.

Check an old thread I started several months ago about blue smoke at start up with a 3.5 EB. The smoke is not dark blue. There was someone in Tulsa and at least one in MO with same problem. Short story - Ford is buying back one F150, my engine was replaced. I had a scored cylinder wall. Hope this helps. The real secret is having a good dealership and I must have had one of the best dealerships!!! I cannot complain about Ford approving a new engine either. Oh, good luck!

Never had that issue except when it starts to get cold, it always does that up here in Canada. Did it yesterday, also did it when I owned a 5.0.
