Hi

Which OEM model tires come on a 2021 Platinum 4x4 with FX4 (which are A/T tires I believe)?

Are they 3PSF-rated? My truck should get built and delivered 'soon', in the winter (Quebec), and I need to know if the stock tires will work for me.

Thanks

The ones which I have seen have had Hankook Dynapro AT2. Which are BSW, I believe that the Pirelli Scorpion ATR are OWL that are on the King Ranch...

The Hankook Dynapro AT2 are 3pmsf rated

Are the OEM Dynapro AT2 really 3 peak rated, have the logo? I know most of the non-OEM versions are, but I had previously read somewhere that the OEM were not.

I have the "oem" dynapro AT2 Tires. They say M+S on my tire but there is NO 3 mountain peak symbol. I don't see how these could be a good Snow Tire by looking at the tread... My opinion.
They do have the symbols indicating it is a "all season" tire. I am quite disappointed actually with the look and Korean build on my $67k Ford Truck ... oh well, 1st world problems

NOTE: This may have already been discussed... The Dynapro AT2 Tires on my 21 F150 are NOT LIKE the tires on Tire Rack the tread is COMPLETELY Different. They are SPECIFIC to Ford.

My King Ranch FX4 came with Pirelli Scorpion ATRs which frankly look like street tires, not AT tires.

3PSF rated tires are really a tire geared for severe snow weather. They are a step above M+S for ice and snow. But are not quite as good road tire. In Utah if you have 2WD car and you are headed to the ski resorts in the winter, they require 3PSF tires or you'll get a ticket. However, It is not required for 4WD as the 4WD M+S tires are really adequate for most situations. That being said, if you are in a serious weather area wtih lots of miles on snow and ice in the winter, the 3PSF tires are better. However, the downside is that you won't get as good of mileage or tire life on tires with that rating. Ice and snow traction come at a cost, so you have to balance the need of serious snow and ice vs longer life and mileage. Also, they will not be quite as smooth and quiet. Not bad, but there is a difference. For what it's worth according to this site https://www.tires-easy.com/blog/new_all_terrain_dynapro_at2/ they are 3PSF rated. While mine will come with these, I'll tolerate them until they wear out and then go with the Michelin Defender. A much better tire, better ride, life and tread and probably as good as traction especially with 4WD.

This could definitely be true. I didn't physically go out and look at my truck for the logo but would agree with what's already been said that the tread definitely doesn't look like what's listed online and doesn't seem to be 3PMSF rated. It would make sense for the OEM version to be different as 3PMSF isn't entirely necessary with 4X4 (IMO).

I emailed Hankook about this from a pure curiosity stand point. This is the response. I assume it's a matter of paying for each tire's official certification; but my interpretation is all of the A/T 2's are built the same with or without the symbol.
