Why would a dealer take less money because you promise to keep it? They don't care what you do once you buy it. They care about profit like any other business would...and should.

Ford can’t dictate selling price to their dealers, it’s part of the dealer agreement. They could, however, reduce allocations to dealers that gouge customers because of the damage it does to the Ford brand. Ford hasn’t grown the balls to do that.

It’s frustrating when you wanna buy a truck from them at MSRP and you can’t even find one for that price. Something is seriously wrong with that business model.

my dealer has 3, and he is well over msrp. even the used one with 52k miles is priced like a new one.

but other vehicles he will honor x plan

Just picked one up in anti matter blue 801A with from torsion at $5k over MSRP. Not the best but every other dealer within 200 miles of me had $25-30k market adjustments and a wait list. Plus my dealer honored my banks financing rate which was a huge deal breaker.
This one was on chip hold for months and showed up randomly. Sales guy called me and I had first
