I am getting my bed sprayed this week with LineX. I am considering getting the rear wheel well area sprayed at the same time. I have never seen a vehicle come without the plastic wheel well insert. It looks unfinished and subject to corrosion. What was Ford thinking.
Has anyone done this ? Ever seen it done? Pros/ Cons thoughts?

It sounds like a great idea to me.

I can't attest to Linex in the wheel well but I ordered the Ford wheel well liners and I put them in myself in 10 minutes and they fit and look great. I would definitely recommend them.
On a side note I do have my bed sprayed but I still like the smooth look of the Ford wheel well liners. IMOP.

Thanks for the replies. After looking at it closer, I think I will go with the Ford wheel well part. There is a gap under the bed/frame that is currently visable that the plastic will cover but the spray LineX will not.

Might want to check out some of the aftermarket liners too.
I've seen some nice pics of installs around here somewhere.

Anyone have any links/recommendations on where to buy the well liners? I had looked at having Line X done on my rear wheel wells but installing some liners myself sounds better to me.

I wanted liners too, until someone told me it’s much easier to clean without the liners there. Made me think about all the potential crap the liners could be hiding, and honestly I haven’t given liners or my lack thereof any thought since!
