Santa brought me a Boost Auto Qi charger that fits into the forward-most center console tray, the one with the USB ports. The instruction video has you removing a bunch of trim and the entire center console (to slide it back) in order to tap into the wiring leading to the USB ports. I am going to do it differently as I have already installed fuse taps for accessory and constant power.
The install does require drilling a small hole in the tray for the charging pad's wiring to pass. My plan is to try and snake the wiring out the front of the console (under the dash) and then run it to the passenger footwell fuse panel. To do this I will have to blindly drill the hole and I would like to know what is below the tray that could be damage. Anyone take the tray out and can tell me what is there?
Thanks.
