What Past Ford Paint Color Would You Like to See Come Back?

I had Velocity Blue on my 2020 F350. I like the Atlas Blue Metallic on my 22 F150, but not as much as the Velocity Blue.

Same here. Wanted the PB but you couldn’t get Guard from the DB truck plant. Ended up with smoked quartz and I’m really happy with it. Not too many trucks around in that colour, which is a bonus; and since discontinued

I also have a Smoked Quartz. In a few years, I think it will be a color that some will be wanting back!

Blue Jeans

Had a Gen 12 2014 XLT in Blue Jeans. It was awesome. Beautiful color.

I know it's not a 150, but the Saber color for the Ranger. I can't really tell if it would look good on a truck as large as the 150, but it's a 2019 specific color for the Ranger.

My 2022 will be in Atlas but I did wish that Velocity was still around. With Velocity when you look at it in any light and any angle, there is no mistaken it is blue.

With Atlas the make up of the metalic will give you the appearance of black in certain light and certain angles. This is the drawback IMO of Atlas. Some may love this feature, but I liked Velocity more.

With that said Atlas will look great with the BAP, (but so did Velocity) so you win some and lose some.

Glad to see Avalanche Gray making a come back. Is it for Ford trucks only, or will it be available for Mustangs too?

I have a 2017 Shelby GT350 Mustang in Avalanche Gray (will be for sale on Cars&Bids soon), which was the last year before they axed the color. It actually looks really good on the Mustang... I bet it'll look good on our trucks too.

While we are talking about old Ford paint colors... anybody remember Dark Amethyst on Harley Davidson F150 trucks? This was my first thought on this topic... in case you don't know, I'm a Harley truck dude lol - I have 3 different Harley-Davidson trucks but did not own one in this color.

The 2024 F-150’s have a purple option buts it’s not as dark as the one in your picture. It’s like the retro Toronto raptors logo. Purple cars look cool but I don’t think I could pull it off.
