48 miles into my second tank and my DTE is at 717. Impressive. Guess Ford wasn’t lying about the 750 mile range.

New high score on my way to the gym this morning: (Got 23 on the ride home)

I recently made a trip across the northern route 70 from Colorado to Maryland. The PB performed much better than my previous F250 6.2 but, not as good as I thought it should. We’ll see how it does on the southern route 40 returning home.

I know this is a PB thread, but just for comparison, I’ve got 4,100 miles on my 3.5EB with a mix of short and long trips and I’m averaging 18.1 mpg.

My wife has had more seat time than me in my power boost with multiple trips from Atlanta to Ohio. It seems to consistently get about 22.3 Mpg with mixed driving through mountain/city/highway. This is with 4wd which is better than my Highlander got.

Just did a drive from my house just outside of Detroit to my parent's place in western SoDak. A little over 1200 miles, only had to stop once for fuel! Pretty impressed with it so far. ?

I track my mileage in a Google sheet, so we'll see how this compares to the pump when I fill the tank again.

Little comparison with my setup most of the time I am in Normal Mode and a few full throttle runs in sports mode on each tank! (Can't help it with the full throttle...love the power and surprising a few performance cars off the line) :

First official tank
Stock 33's no level kit - 10.1l/100km (1 tank) - +1000km

Current Tank (1/2 tank so far)
2" level Kit - E ply 295/60R20's Toyo AT3's - 11.2l/100km
(This again - I have some full throttle starts in sports mode :))

Will post when I get through a full tank with this setup.

This was a good intown short trip.
Boosted my average a little bit.
A trip to Colorado and back, has got me at 19.8 mpg right now. Lots of 75 and 80 mph driving...just pushing too much wind.
I love this truck!

OK so I went from the wimpy stock Pirelli scorpion 275x60 x20 tires to 285x65x20 BFG KO2S. I also removed that horrendous looking front air dam within half hour of bringing the truck home. No leveling or lift.

Knock on wood but so far no noticeable impact to mpg (I run the BFGs at 45 psi)

I watch the 'This Trip' screen religiously. In the city the BEST i've ever gotten is 23 MPG...
A more recent trip on a hilly scenic byway in iowa yielded just over 29MPG @ 55MPH with A/C and a full crew cab. since our hybrid battery connector and harness were replaced the truck seems to be utilizing more electric power in hybrid modes. flat interstate at 70MPH is still around 21-22 MPG where hybrid functionality isn't effective.

Just got to 640 on the odometer. Average thus far is 22.2 MPG - best trip recorded is 30.5 (12 miles, 3 on battery, 200 ft elevation drop). Bone stock Lariat 501A FX4. I'm switching to 92 octane at the next fill-up.

I drive it moderately spirited now, but after the break-in period that will change ;-}

I am curious to know what folks are getting for MPG for around town and for any highway trip in the real world. I don't expect that towing would see any improvement over the 3.5 Ecoboost, but lots of us buying these are getting them in hopes of overall improved mileage.
I'm getting great mileage from my 2021 XLT Crew Cab Powerboost hybrid with Lots of options including the 7.2 kw Generator, MAX Tow pkg, 4x4 off road pkg, 12 inch Screen, Panorama Roof, Factory Spray in 5.6 foot bed and Tailgate ladder. No issues so far with over 4,300 miles. On arecent trip from Cincinnati to Atlanta got 23.84 mpg doing around 70 miles per hour. No towing involved.

The truck works as a great camping vehicle. As you can see my profile pic I use it for camping and we also have a 2,700 lb 16 foot camper trailer that we have towed with this truck while using generator to keep fridge cool till arrive at campsite.

No issues with truck and loving it.

I've noticed my truck can cruise in electric mode at over 70 mph if on slight down hill grade after tapping break it switches to electric driving. About 10% of my miles are electric miles so far. Loving it so far.

Just drove from Indiana to Florida last weekend and back this weekend. I reset my Trip 1 odometer every time I got gas. I averaged 22.5mpg in mountains. Otherwise, it was around 24.5 - 25mpg. The mpg really surprised me at 68 - 73mph. It would drop to 23.5 - 24 at 75 - 78mph. I have my Intelligent Cruise set for +3.

I experience Electric Miles at 72mph coming down a hill, however, anytime I put pressure on the throttle it would go back to the engine.

Through the mountains it still maintained 1,800 RPM both up and down the hills. I also love the PowerBoost when we ran into traffic issues in Nashville, Chattanooga, Atlanta, etc. It is great to sit there in Electric mode and inch alone without using gas and killing the mpg.

We just did a trip from Detroit to Indianapolis. The truck handled fantastic, and was an improvement over my already outstanding road trip happy 2019 F-150. Only thing that bugs me is the "keep hands on the wheel" message, since it of course does it when you DO have your hands firmly planted, but the truck rides so easy I don't have a lot of reason to mess with the wheel most of the time. I found I was getting slight hand cramps in my left hand as I tended to use just my left hand to keep some pressure on it. I sure hope Ford can improve that OTA.

Anyway, onto the mileage. The trip to Indy isn't worth discussing. For anyone that saw the news, Michigan got hit with insane rain water/flooding, and we left Friday when it was starting. Our whole trip to Indy basically was heavy rains, winds, and changing traffic. I think I averaged 20.7 MPG despite all that which isn't awful, I mean it was almost worst case as far as weather goes. Plus when we got to the Indy area it was about 5PM so we got stuck in bumper to bumper traffic for about 10 miles on the freeway.

On the trip home we left around 10AM on Sunday, had decent weather, and good traffic. Was the same route just in reverse of course, and got 24.3 MPG. That is holding it at about 70-73 MPH for 98% of the trip. Had some stops and that of course, but otherwise was all freeway when actually driving.

This honestly blows away my expectations. This is a heavy Lariat 502a with most all the options, I expected 24MPG highway to be left to "trim" XLs with one person in the cab. We had myself, my wife, two kids, and every inch of the bed (under the tonneau cover) loaded with stuff. So it was about the heaviest the truck will ever be on a road trip without something on the hitch. I imagine if it was just me and less luggage/stuff, I would have cleared 25MPG pretty easily.

My last two trucks were a 2017 and 2019 F-150 with the 2.7L, which I thought was great on the highway, but this PowerBoost is just beating it out while doing WAY better in the city (26-30MPG Easy) and of course having a ton more power and refinement. I love this truck, and the PowerBoost has completely won me over, wouldn't have any other engine.
